From Tiles to Organic Worlds - Redefining Beloved Bound’s Art Style


When I started prototyping Beloved Bound, I used some ready-made assets and RPGMaker, thinking it would be a quick solution. 

But as I kept building, the tile-based look felt too structured for the cozy, organic world I envisioned.
I wanted the game to have that hand-crafted warmth, that warm feeling when you played Legend of Mana on PS1. 

So, I made the decision to rework everything from scratch, recreating each asset for a more alive, fluid world. 
It’s a lot more work, but now it feels like the world I’ve always wanted to create.
